S3 Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale Introduces Enhanced Sushi Menu

The Restaurant People (TRP), a premier hospitality group in South Florida, owns the venue.

The oceanfront S3 restaurant in Fort Lauderdale has debuted several new shareable plates, sushi features, and cocktails on the brunch, lunch, and dinner menus. The Asian Coastal cuisine combines the freshest seafood from the Toyosu Fish Market with a delightful range of steaks and main courses. Seaside diners can find Chef Ped Phommavong, S3’s Corporate Sushi Chef, behind the sushi bar, skillfully serving delicious sushi.

“The art of sushi-making captivates me,” Chef Phommavong says.

Along with sushi, S3 offers an upscale yet casual-chic ambiance in a trendy and relaxed setting, making it the perfect spot for oceanfront dining and happy hours. This vibe is reflected in their newly crafted menus, which feature substantial, shareable plates ideal for social gatherings.

Chef Ped possesses a remarkable skill for crafting innovative sushi dishes and is dedicated to showcasing the freshest and most authentic ingredients and flavors in each creation. Drawing inspiration from his personal culinary journey, which began with his family’s traditional Thai recipes, he honed his sushi-making expertise through an apprenticeship and mastery of the art in Thailand. His imaginative approach to sushi and his ability to craft genuinely immersive flavor profiles in every dish garnered him recognition. Chef Phommavong achieved eight impressive victories at Iron Chef Thailand and is excited to infuse the sushi menu at S3 with the same on-air energy and creativity.
