South Florida Watering Holes Make the List of North America’s 50 Best Bars

Viceversa in Miami was one of three spots in the Magic City that made the list.

This year’s list of North America’s 50 Best Bars, sponsored by Perrier, included favorite places to imbibe across not only the U.S. but also Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Three Miami spots made the grade, including Viceversa (above). A live awards ceremony will be held April 29 and broadcast to a global audience.

The annual list included more geographical locations than ever this year, shining a spotlight on the rich and diverse cocktail cultures across the region. The extended list is the result of votes cast by an academy that comprises more than 300 independent cocktail experts, renowned bartenders, educators and writers from across the region.

For the first time since the awards launched in 2022, the awards ceremony will be hosted in Canada, uniting the bar community in Vancouver. New York is home to nine of the bars on the list, while Chicago’s scene is represented by three entries and California has two—one in Los Angeles and one in San Francisco.
