The Boca Raton Partners With Major Food Group to Launch New Restaurant

If you’re going to spend over $100 million on enhancements to a resort club, you might as well have a signature restaurant to accompany it. The Boca Raton recently announced the opening of The Flamingo Grill to serve as its flagship eatery for the iconic South Florida resort. The resort has partnered with Major Food Group (MFG) to develop a modern dining concept as part of its A New Golden Era renovation project.

“At The Flamingo Grill, we seek to thrill with the best versions of dishes that feel familiar to guests, prepared meticulously,” says Mario Carbone, Managing Partner of Major Food Group. “Each night, the lights dim as our charismatic service captains offer an unparalleled culinary experience that’s at once intimate and energetic—the signature style of Major Food Group.”

Carbone worked with executive chef Will Cox to develop a contemporary curated menu featuring a Dressed Lobster with French curry aioli and pickled green apple and Montauk Pearl Oysters with a black pepper mignonette as starters. Among the highlights of the main courses, patrons can enjoy an extensive collection of steaks and a half zesty chicken with roasted garlic vinaigrette. Cocktail options include the Hemingway Daiquiri featuring rum, lime and grapefruit, and a vast selection of martinis and wines.

“The Boca Raton is primed to be one of the most exciting culinary destinations in the country, and the debut of The Flamingo Grill is a momentous first milestone on this journey,” says Daniel A. Hostettler, president and CEO of The Boca Raton. “The Flamingo Grill provides resort guests and members with a one-of-a-kind experience, setting the standard for what is to come.”
