The Federal Opens at The Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale

The Iceplex is also home to the new Florida Panthers practice arena.

The Federal, a vibrant bar and restaurant with casual dining and scenic park views, has recently opened at The Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale’s Holiday Park. The Federal welcomes guests to indulge in cuisine while taking in panoramic views of the lively pickleball courts and the new ice rinks, offering a truly unique dining experience featuring an array of modern American cuisine, including handheld dishes, entrées, salads, and desserts.

The Federal at 800 NE 8th St. is situated between two ice rinks at the Baptist Health IcePlex. Its excellent location and inviting atmosphere make it a popular spot for locals and visitors to gather, relax, and enjoy an exciting dining and social experience. Upon entering, guests are welcomed by a nostalgic ambiance that honors the deep history of Fort Lauderdale’s War Memorial. The interior is adorned with vintage sports photography, military memorabilia, and iconic relics from the city’s past.

Floor-to-ceiling windows divide the restaurant from the ice rink, allowing diners to soak in the atmosphere of a Florida Panthers practice. The second-floor outdoor patio at The Federal provides stunning panoramic views of Holiday Park and convenient access to the pickleball courts. The patio features a fully stocked bar and plenty of seating.
