Battle for the Kids Concert and Golf Challenge

  • Boca West Children’s Foundation hosts its Battle for the Kids Foundation Days with a $200,000 golf challenge on April 9 and a concert featuring a “Battle of the Bands: Chicago vs. Billy Joel” on April 10.
    • The $200,000 Golf Challenge hosts 500 golfers and is the largest charity golf tournament in South Palm Beach County. Admission includes golf play, brunch, a duck for the $5,000 Duck Drop, admission to the evening gala cocktail party including live auction and awards presentation.
    • Members of the band Beginnings (pictured), the authorized Chicago tribute band, will face off against the band for Billy Joel starring Mike DelGuidice in the “Battle of the Bands:Chicago vs. Billy Joel. The concert will feature dance floors in front of the stage and a Florida State Fair theme throughout. Imagine an atmosphere of twinkling lights, games, and gourmet food trucks. Food from the finest gourmet food trucks in the area and beverages are included in the cost of admission.
