2024 Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards Winners

See which local establishments are on the list.

The 2024 Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards are out and two South Florida restaurants got the pinnacle Grand Awards — HMF at the Breakers in Palm Beach and Marcello’s La Sirena in West Palm Beach. That is an outstanding achievement since only 96 restaurants globally are in this category. The next tier was much more expansive with 36 restaurants in the Best of Award of Excellence in South Florida, followed by 103 in the Award of Excellence category.

The Restaurant Awards, which were established in 1981, acknowledge establishments at three levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence and the Grand Award. This year, there are 2,150, 1,531 and 96 winners in each respective category. The The Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards issue will feature guides for the winners, interviews with top wine directors, wine selections and pairing tips from sommeliers at award-winning programs.
