Art is Business. Business for the Arts Broward hosts a free virtual talk with international artist and sculptor Nilda Comas as part of its Arts Mean Business Speaker Series. The Puerto Rican native’s career has spanned nearly 50 years, highlighted by exhibitions around the country as well as the United Kingdom and Italy. The Boys are Back. History Fort Lauderdale celebrates the city’s iconic status as a spring break destination with Where the Boys Are, an exclusive 60th-anniversary film photo exhibition at The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale. The free exhibit features 40 never-before-seen oversized images chronicling the making of and local star-studded premiere of the film (Dec. 21, 1960), which was filmed in Fort Lauderdale and cemented its place as a vacation destination. Two for One. There’s double the fun to be had this month for locals—especially for fans of science and nature. Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) and Flamingo Gardens have partnered on a special cross promotion. Every weekend in December, MODS members may visit Flamingo Gardens for free throughout the month, and Flamingo Gardens members may visit MODS for free on weekends in December. Be Dazzled. The Boca Raton Museum of Art presents Trine Lise Nedreaas: The Entertainers, a video art exhibit. The videos from the Norwegian artist explore our desire for fame and admiration from others. The exhibit may also be viewed online. Through Jan. 3.

Back in time. Travel back in time to when dinosaurs ruled the earth—without leaving your car. Jurassic Quest Drive Thru (featured image) at BB&T Center features more than 70 moving and life-like dinosaurs, as well as a 50 foot-long Megalodon. Created in collaboration with paleontologists, the unique event features an online audio tour or realistic scenes that show how dinosaurs moved. Plus, families also receive a free safari-style photo. Tickets are $49 per vehicle with eight people or less. Through Dec. 20.

Meet you at The Salon. ArtServe presents its annual “The Salon,” featuring the work of members and resident artists.
