Mister O1 Launches Its Latest Location in Bay Harbor Islands

Italian-born chef and owner Renato Viola brings his Michelin guide-recommended pizza to the new locale.

Bay Harbor Islands residents and visitors can now indulge in extraordinary pizza with the grand opening of the newest location of renowned pizzeria Mister O1, at 1065 95th St. With a deep-rooted passion for the art of pizza-making, Mister O1 takes pride in its distinct approach to crafting culinary masterpieces, emphasizing on the quality and consistency that are the hallmarks of chef Renato Viola’s critically acclaimed pizza.

Mister O1’s dedication to crafting exceptional and inventive pizzas is reflected in its more than 13 locations across Florida, Texas, and internationally in Spain and Saudi Arabia. The pizzeria’s unique approach to pizza-making involves using a delicate, thin, and crispy crust made with a light dough that is prepared and rests for a minimum of 72 to 96 hours to leaven naturally. This results in a delightful harmony of flavors where premium ingredients, almost all sourced directly from Italy, meld together to create a taste sensation that has garnered national recognition. Food & Wine magazine named Mister O1 the “best pizza” in Florida in 2021, while Barstool Sports’ pizza aficionado Dave Portnoy gave it an impressive rating of 8.9. The flagship location in Miami Beach is also recommended in Florida’s Michelin Guide. The burgeoning brand has plans for additional locations, including West Boca Raton, Orlando, and Naples, in addition to the new Bay Harbor space.

“Mister O1’s newest location in Bay Harbor is a testament to the brand’s growth and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences,” Viola says. “With successful establishments throughout Dade County and beyond, this latest addition to the Mister O1 family promises to become a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike.”

The Mister O1 menu boasts a range of delicious options, including 13-inch traditional and specialty pizzas, calzones, salads, and an antipasto and burrata bar. The restaurant’s signature “Extraordinary Pizzas” are served as 13-inch pies and feature standout flavor selections such as the award-winning Star Luca, a star-shaped pizza filled with ricotta cheese, spicy salami calabrese, mozzarella, Italian tomato sauce, and basil. Mister O1 offers gluten-free crust and vegan cheese options to provide customers with a fully inclusive dining experience.

Mister O1’s Bay Harbor location is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
