Corvina Seafood Grill and B the Difference Collaborate for an Evening of Fundraising

The Summer Soiree event will benefit the South Florida charity.

The Summer Soiree event at Corvina Seafood Grill in Boca Raton will serve as a summer welcoming party and a fundraiser for B the Difference (BTD), a local charity launched in 2011 to provide support, relief, and joy to individuals affected by Neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder of the nervous system. Similar to BTD’s annual Cheers to B! gala, which is on hiatus this year, the Summer Soiree on Thursday, May 30, will be a lighthearted affair, reflecting the spirit of BTD’s namesake, Brandon Merritt, with a focus on celebrating life while also raising awareness and funds for a very worthy cause.

The event starts at 7 p.m. with a welcoming reception that includes complimentary servings of Hampton Water rosé and a selection of raw bar and sushi. Following the reception, guests will enjoy a multi-course, seated family-style dinner featuring cocktails by Cazadores tequila and Hampton Water rosé. The menu for the dinner, crafted by Corvina Executive Chef Jeff Tunks, is still being finalized but promises to offer a delectable array of sea and land fare, including a steak course sponsored by Deerfield-based Sunshine Provisions.

“The arrival of summer is something to be celebrated,” says Christina Pozzuoli, who operates Corvina with her husband/business partner Eddie Pozzuoli, who also own/operate Prezzo restaurants in Boca Raton and Palm Beach Gardens, all under their P Hospitality banner. “The kids are out of school, the days are longer and there’s fun to be had. We couldn’t imagine a better way to kick off vacation season than with an event that’s as much about having a good time as it is doing good for others.”

The Summer Soiree is an exclusive event with a limited capacity of 40 seats. To secure your spot at this unique gathering, make your reservations beforehand. Seats are priced at $125 per person, which includes sponsored beverages and service but excludes additional bar/bottles. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales directly benefits BTD. To support a worthy cause and enjoy a delightful evening, reserve your spot at btdsummersoiree.givesmart.com.

Corvina Seafood Grill is in the Palmetto Place Plaza at 110 Plaza Real South in Boca Raton. Happy Hour takes place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Dinner is offered from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The restaurant features live entertainment on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 6 p.m.
