Meet & Greet with Rebecca Minkoff

The celebrated designer brings her fearless philosophy to DCOTA.

The South Florida design scene is set to gather on Wednesday, November 12, when the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA) hosts its 2025 Fall Market—a day dedicated to creativity, conversation, and connection across fashion, interiors, and architecture.

This year’s marquee keynote features Rebecca Minkoff, the globally recognized fashion designer, author, and entrepreneur known for her bold aesthetic and empowering business ethos. Minkoff will sit down with Alena Capra, ASID, NKBA, and host of SoFlo Home Project, for a fireside chat exploring the intersections of creativity, commerce, and confidence that have defined her career.

Following the keynote, guests can meet Minkoff in person during a book signing and reception for her bestselling title Fearless at Scavolini (Suite C-232). The day’s events continue throughout DCOTA’s design campus with expert-led panels, showroom activations, and fresh looks at the trends shaping the year ahead.

Highlights include the book launch of See Miami Differently: Aniello’s Lens on the Modern City at Armazen Design (Suite C-220); a Quick Talk titled “Design Disasters” with interior designers Anel De Castro and Laetitia Laurent, moderated by Erica Corsano at Wired Custom Lighting (Suite C-236); and a lively panel discussion, “Beyond the Gates: The New Language of Palm Beach Design,” featuring Kristen Kellogg, Billy Ceglia, and Blake Gill, moderated by Palm Beach Post Notables Editor Krystian von Speidel.

Afternoon programming includes “The Future of Color: Trends Shaping Residential Design,” led by Ruenna Villaflores-Diaz of Sherwin-Williams at Crestron (Suite B-108), followed by “Building Culture: Intersection of Design, Development, & Hospitality,” featuring Jordan Karp, John Tolbert, and Aaron Abramoff, moderated by Charlotte Trattner, Managing Editor at Ocean Drive.

For nearly four decades, DCOTA has been a cornerstone of South Florida’s design community, housing over 40 luxury showrooms representing some of the most prestigious names in interior design and architecture. The annual Fall Market continues that tradition—uniting designers, developers, and tastemakers for a day of inspiration and networking.

DCOTA Fall Market 2025 takes place Wednesday, November 12, at 1855 Griffin Road, Dania Beach.
