Fashion Takes the Lead

Pegasus World Cup kicked off its anniversary celebration with an elevated fashion show blending glamour and giving back.

The annual Off To The Races Fashion Show returned as the official kickoff to the event’s 10-year anniversary, celebrating the elegant overlap of fashion, philanthropy, and one of racing’s most high-profile weekends.

Presented by the Pegasus World Cup in collaboration with Bal Harbour Shops, the invitation-only evening felt deliberately restrained and impeccably styled. The runway presentation reimagined classic race-day dressing through a modern, Miami-specific lens—polished without being precious, glamorous without trying too hard.

Models moved through a thoughtfully curated lineup of looks from Alaïa, Brunello Cucinelli, Chloé, Etro, Givenchy, Pucci, Ralph Lauren, Tom Ford, and Valentino. There were sculptural silhouettes, fluid tailoring, and occasion-ready pieces that nodded to tradition while feeling distinctly current. The effect was less costume, more confidence—proof that race-day style can evolve without losing its sense of ceremony.

After the final walk, guests flowed seamlessly into a post-show shopping experience, where select looks were available directly off the runway. It was a subtle but savvy reminder that this event has always been as much about participation as presentation—fashion meant to be worn, not just admired.

Philanthropy, as always, was woven naturally into the evening. Style Saves, an official charitable partner of the Pegasus World Cup, was presented with a $15,000 donation in support of its mission to provide underprivileged students with essential school supplies and access to mentorship programs. The moment landed with quiet intention, reinforcing the World Cup’s ongoing commitment to giving back alongside its pursuit of spectacle.

The guest list reflected the event’s layered appeal. In attendance were Belinda Stronach, Chairman, CEO, and President of The Stronach Group and Chairman and CEO of 1/ST, alongside Nicole Walker, Vice President of The Stronach Group, and Tiffani Steer, Vice President of Communications for The Stronach Group and 1/ST. Members of this year’s Off To The Races host committee included Ashley Taylor Arguello, Kiki Barth, Shea Curtin, Isabela Grutman, Marysol Patton, Lorena Perozo, Elizabeth Resnick, Morgan Shara, Alexa Shear, Dana Shear, Vita Sidorkina-Morabito, Lydia Touzet, and Suzy Buckley Woodward.

Also spotted were Real Housewives of Miami cast members Larsa Pippen, Julia Lemigova, and Alexia Nepola, along with philanthropists Christina Martin and Nikki Squire; influencers Jane Motion, Ashley Moore, Micah Lussier, Ria Michelle, Kelly Hues, and Tina Stuck; Becoming: HER podcast host Nikki Spoelstra; Pura Vida co-founder Jennifer Horev; and stylist Kimmie Sussman. The mix felt intentional—fashion insiders, philanthropists, cultural figures, and Miami regulars, all dressed for something worth showing up for.

With the tone officially set, attention now turns to the track. The 2026 Pegasus World Cup returns to Gulfstream Park on Saturday, January 24, featuring the $3 million Pegasus World Cup Championship Invitational (GI), the $1 million Pegasus World Cup Championship Turf Invitational (GI), and the $500,000 Pegasus World Cup Filly & Mare Turf Invitational (GII). Tickets range from $135 to $2,300, with private suites available for those seeking the full VIP experience.

The races will broadcast live on NBC and Peacock from 4:30–6:00 p.m. EST, with full-day coverage on FanDuel TV and global distribution via HBA Media.

If the fashion show was any indication, this milestone year isn’t about looking back. It’s about refining what the Pegasus World Cup does best—bringing together sport, style, and purpose—and letting each element run its own flawless race.
