CATCH, a Globally-Influenced Seafood Dining Destination, Opens in Miami Beach

The restaurant will also cater to private and semi-private events.

CATCH Miami Beach just had its grand opening in the prestigious South of Fifth neighborhood. This newest addition will be the seventh location for the well-regarded brand, adding to its existing presence in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Aspen, as well as the upcoming establishments in Dallas and Scottsdale.

“After receiving such a warm reception following the launch of Mastro’s Ocean Club in Downtown Miami earlier this year, I couldn’t be more excited to expand our footprint within Miami’s thriving hospitality scene and bring the signature CATCH experience to the esteemed South of Fifth neighborhood,” says Tilman Fertitta, Partner of Catch Hospitality Group. “This city’s ever-evolving culinary landscape is truly something special, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

CATCH Miami Beach is near Miami’s prime waterfront real estate and some of the city’s most sought-after and top-grossing restaurants like Prime One Twelve, CARBONE, Joe’s Stone Crab, and Milos.

The 23,000-square-foot restaurant is similar to its New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen counterparts, with an equal division between indoor dining and an open-air rooftop terrace. It was designed by Rockwell Group, known for their work on CATCH Las Vegas and CATCH Steak in various locations. The design of CATCH Miami Beach amplifies the energy and excitement of the original Los Angeles location, creating a fantastical, tropical escape. The restaurant’s design celebrates the vibrant surroundings, drawing inspiration from the neighborhood’s history, lush landscape, balmy nights, and iconic Floridian “Mediterranean Deco” architecture. Refined materials such as bronze, antique mirrors, bold marble, lacquer paints, Venetian plaster, and rich contrasting woods are intricately layered with lush florals and dramatic lighting to create a sumptuous conservatory-inspired atmosphere.

“This Miami opening signifies our seventh CATCH restaurant nationwide, and it’s among one of our most anticipated debuts,” says Mark Birnbaum, Partner of Catch Hospitality Group. “Miami offers the perfect backdrop for our brand. Securing this incredible location has enabled us to deliver the quintessential high-energy dining experience we’re renowned for, and we’re eager to bring our unique blend of service, style, and cuisine to this vibrant community.”

CATCH in Miami Beach blends modern and classic dishes in a shareable dining style. They specialize in seafood, sushi, and steak, focusing on exceptional quality and lively service. Its Japanese sushi and Wagyu program features signature nigiri and sashimi platters and cold dishes of crudos and ceviches made with fish flown in directly from Japan’s Toyosu Market. As one of the few fully licensed restaurants to sell authentic True A5 Kobe, CATCH Miami Beach is known for its top-tier Wagyu program, including the signature Wagyu Hot Rock dish, a tableside preparation of A5 Kobe Beef from the Hyogo Prefecture. It will also showcase locally-inspired fare and well-loved CATCH favorites, including the CATCH Roll, Truffle Sashimi, Mushroom Spaghetti, and Cantonese Lobster.

“We see distinct, extraordinary spaces as essential foundations for every CATCH establishment, and we’re confident that our vision for this 23,000-square-foot venue will significantly enhance the overall experience for our guests,” said Eugene Remm, one of three Catch Hospitality Group partners. “From the energetic atmosphere to our dedication to providing great food, great service, and a great vibe, we couldn’t be more excited to bring CATCH to this city in a manner that captures the unmatched vibrancy of Miami Beach.”

CATCH Miami Beach is located at 200 South Pointe Dr, Miami Beach. Its opening hours are Monday through Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily. For more information, visit www.catchrestaurants.com.
