Salty Flame Opens as Brickell’s Newest Asian-inspired Steak Bar

The unique concept combines the appeal of a contemporary steakhouse with the dynamic and varied tastes of diverse Asian cuisine.

Salty Flame recently opened on Miami’s Brickell Avenue, providing a vibe-driven approach to fine dining by blending modern steak bar options with Asian-influenced dishes. Salty Flame’s innovative menu promises to take guests on a culinary journey where tradition meets innovation, elevating their dining experience to a new level. The restaurant’s unique blend of premium cuts of meat, flavorful spices, and exquisite techniques from Asian cuisine will surely tantalize guests’ palates.

Open for lunch and dinner and operated by V&E Hospitality Group, also known as Vida & Estilo (life and style in Spanish), the restaurant encompasses some of the most recognizable dining concepts, hotels, and nightlife destinations in Miami, including PaperFish. Founded in 1996, the group has opened and operated more than 20 restaurants focused on seamlessly integrating distinctive experiences, gastronomy, mixology, entertainment, music and ambiance at every location.

We are incredibly excited to introduce our newest concept to the heart of Brickell,” says Jamil Dib, Co-Founder and owner of V&E Hospitality. “Salty Flame transcends the ordinary steak bar, offering a fun dining experience infused with an enticing Asian fusion twist, creating an exceptional ambiance that truly sets it apart.”

The restaurant’s menu, curated by renowned Executive Chefs Michael Asalie and Alex Martinez, offers a diverse range of high-quality dishes that guests can relish during lunch and dinner. Along with the culinary experience, guests can enjoy expertly crafted cocktails prepared by mixologists who offer an evolving menu that transforms from day to night to late night. In addition, the restaurant boasts a DJ who provides a high-energy atmosphere in an inviting environment designed to encourage guests to interact and mingle.

The restaurant offers a menu of premium meats to be shared among guests. The menu includes a range of options, such as premium dry-aged and traditional steaks like Filet Mignon, Rib Eye, Prime Cowboy Ribeye, mouth-watering Japanese A-5 Wagyu Striploin, and more, all of which are served thinly sliced. To complete the dining experience, guests can choose from unique side dishes like stir-fried milk bok choy or Kimchi Truffle Fries.

Salty Flame offers a range of delicacies, from street fare to bistro delights infused with Asian influence. Visitors can expect to enjoy rolls, sashimi, rice and noodles, and a full steak bar. The dishes are designed to be shared, featuring Korean Fried Chicken, a crispy chicken thigh glazed with sweet gochujang and topped with scallions, sesame seeds, and kimchi aioli. Other dishes include Steamed Striped Bass served in Shaoxing broth, topped with scallions, ginger, cilantro, and Fresno chili, as well as Salmon Avocado Roll with asparagus, cream cheese, avocado, and savory truffle eel sauce.

The venue offers a total of 8,000 square feet of space, which comprises both indoors and outdoors. It features a 130-seat main dining area and two private dining spaces: the Sapphire Lounge, accommodating 40 guests, and the Reflection Room, accommodating 12 guests, along with an outdoor wrap-around terrace. The venue’s decor exudes a contemporary feel with plush green and black velvet booths, high-top tables, and a rectangular bar lined with emerald bar stools. The open-concept kitchen, highlighted by ambient lighting, red velvet, and gold accents, transports guests to the Far East as they walk through the space. The venue also features a DJ booth, a state-of-the-art sound system, and three hidden TVs, providing an unbeatable atmosphere for special events.

Salty Flame is situated at 1414 Brickell Ave and operates from 11:30 a.m. until midnight Sunday through Thursday and between 12 p.m. and 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Happy hour specials are available every day of the week. Reservations are now open via OpenTable.
