Spirits of the Spring in Miami

The Deck at Island Gardens launches a new cocktail menu.

Mixology can mimic the seasons at The Deck at Island Gardens. In the case of spring, the popular waterfront lounge in Miami (888 MacArthur Causeway) has unveiled craft cocktails and spritzes that feature fruit flavors and herbal notes. The new entries include:

            • Hibiscus Mule (vodka, hibiscus syrup, lime juice, rose water and ginger beer).

            • Ibiza Before Dark (Empress 1908 gin, strawberry-infused Aperol and grapefruit juice).

            • Harbour Mezcal (fresh watermelon juice, St-Germain, ginger beer, lime juice and mezcal).

The Passion-ista, a holdover from the previous spirits menu, plays well with the new signature drinks given the passion fruit puree, lemon juice, rose water, cachaça and edible rose petals. (islandgardens.com/the-deck).
