One Rich Roll at Casa Sensei

The Japanese/Latin fusion restaurant in Fort Lauderdale offers waterfront dining and happy hour specials.

Strike gold as you dive into Casa Sensei’s Million-Dollar sushi roll. The ritzy roll is the most expensive item on the East Las Olas Boulevard eatery’s menu, at $50 for the eight-piece serving. Caviar and gold flakes on top make this sushi a rich man’s (and woman’s) feast. The rice-less wonder features a combo of lobster, scallops, and foie gras, and the whole thing is drizzled in truffle oil. Truly splurge-worthy at Casa Sensei.

Casa Sensei is also participating in Dine Out Lauderdale this year. It is offering a tempting three-course menu at two price points, $35 and $45. To start off, you can choose from mouthwatering appetizers such as the luxurious Ahi Poke or Casa Sensei’s homemade Argentinian Beef Empanadas with chimichurri for dipping. Each entrée is served with a choice of Miso Soup or House Salad and features a variety of creative dishes, from sushi rolls to rice bowls. Options include the Truffle Butter Brunch Roll drizzled with clarified truffle butter and the tender Mongolian Beef flavored with Casa Special Sauce, accompanied by bok choy and jasmine rice. Finish off this delightful meal with a refreshing dessert to bid farewell to summer: Almond Crunch Cake or Lemon Dream Cake.
