An Upscale Dining Experience Shines at Verde Restaurant in the Perez Art Museum

A new spring menu is a must try.

The Perez Art Museum Miami is an art lover’s heaven, a place where you can escape the outside hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in gorgeous installations and scenic views of Biscayne Bay. Yet, a little slice of heaven is tucked away in the museum, a place where you can enjoy the type of food that the palate craves.

This food is full of organic ingredients and the dishes are as unique as they are flavorful. Let’s just say Verde is the type of hidden-away gem that one must experience a gorgeous discovery with a view.

Verde is truly a place where you can kick back and enjoy a relaxing dining experience. If you pick a table outdoors, you’ll be impressed by the view of sparkling blue water, boats breezing by as you take in the Miami sunshine. Yet even an indoor table inside the cozy dining room will give you a chance to catch all the views and enjoy the restaurant’s all-around elegant experience.

Verde’s menu is not only impressive, but it is also extensive enough where you have choices and can mix and match, or even share with a plus one. And their new Spring 2024 menu is one to remember and enjoy.

Led by Executive Chef Loris Navone of Constellation Culinary Group has prepared a menu that it full of small and large dishes, abundant salads, homemade pizza, sweet treats and exclusive brunch specials. This means that no matter when you come by and visit the restaurant, you’ll have the chance to have a different dining experience every single time.

When we visited, we made sure to start the meal with their highly recommended spicy margarita. A balanced drink featuring the perfect blend of spicy, tangy and a bit sweet, with a spicy rim, it’s the perfect beverage to enjoy before your meal. The restaurant offers a selection of hand-crafted cocktails and wines that will pair perfectly with your food, so make sure to ask the knowledgeable staff for recommendations.

As for the food, prepare yourself to be floored by dishes such as small plates like fresh Zucchini Blossoms, featuring ricotta stuffed fried zucchini blossoms with spring vegetables, panko, marinara and roasted shallot dip; Memories of Ceviche, leche de tigre, cobia, drunken onion, corn, micro cilantro and green apple foam; and the Roasted Garlic Hummus. While there we also treated ourselves to one of the restaurant’s pizzas, as we decided to share food to try as much as we could from the delicious menu options.

Lastly, do not forget to have a little something sweet at the end of your dining experience. Yummy selections include a Buttermilk Panna Cotta, with mixed berries and citrus, strawberry consommé and praline, Cane Sugar DonutsWarm Apple Tart; and Ice Cream, your choice of vanilla, chocolate or cinnamon.

So, make sure to take the time to treat yourself at Verde. You will not regret the upscale and delicious experience that will surely satisfy your palate.
