Funky Buddha and Bravo Peruvian Host Food and Beer Pairing Dinner Benefiting the Ann Storck Center

The nonprofit focuses on enhancing the quality of life for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Ann Storck Center will be hosting a food and beer pairing dinner in collaboration with Bravo Peruvian Cuisine and Funky Buddha Brewery at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18. The guests attending the event will be treated to a four-course meal featuring dishes from Bravo Peruvian Cuisine, each paired perfectly with a beer from Funky Buddha Brewery. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the Ann Storck Center, an organization that caters to the needs of more than 300 people daily through various critical care, learning, and ability-focused programs. The center also provides accommodation to 96 residents.

The featured menu includes:

  1. Causa de Cangrejo – Whipped potato infused with Aji Amarillo puree topped with Maryland crab salad, avocado, rocoto aioli, and quail egg. Paired with Tropical Floridian – German-style hefeweizen.
  2. Salmon Arugula Salad – Grilled Salmon, arugula, cherry tomatoes, Peruvian corn, goat cheese, and basil-lime vinaigrette. Paired with Floridian, an unfiltered German-style wheat beer.
