Kapow Noodle Bar in Boca Raton Introduces Omakase Dining Experience

The restaurant offers a range of delicate dishes at various price points.

Kapow Noodle Bar has introduced an Omakase experience at its Boca Raton outlet. The restaurant promises an extraordinary gastronomic journey by blending the revered Japanese tradition of Omakase with a touch of modern innovation. Omakase, which means “we leave it up to the chef,” offers the chef complete control over the selection of dishes, giving diners a unique and exciting culinary experience.

“Presenting an Omakase that is authentic yet approachable, we strip away the pretenses that often accompany fine dining,” Vaughan Dugan says, co-owner of Kapow who also curated its premium sake program. “Our objective is to deliver an educational experience and artistry without breaking the bank.”

The culinary expedition is being led by Chef Nicholas Corral, well-known for his experience in distinguished Omakase eateries such as Sushi by Scratch and Omakai in Miami. Chef Corral opts for a personalized approach to each dish, utilizing the freshest seasonal ingredients to create a unique blend of traditional and contemporary flavors.

Kapow Noodle Bar invites patrons to indulge in the Omakase during two seatings from Wednesday through Sunday:

  • 6 p.m. seating: An eight-course chef-selected menu that starts with a welcome sake is available for $85, presenting an excellent opportunity to explore the world of Omakase.
  • 8 p.m. seating: A 12-course extravaganza with three sake pairings Priced at $150. This experience is perfect for those who want to indulge in an immersive dining experience. With a wide range of courses, this offering is a delightful journey into Japanese culinary delights.

The exclusive dining experience occurs at an eight-seat Omakase counter within the Mizner Park outlet of Kapow in Boca Raton. The setting ensures an intimate and focused gastronomic adventure for guests. The menu features signature dishes such as aged bluefin Akami with dehydrated red miso, Hokkaido Scallop with white truffle salt, and A5 Wagyu with brown butter miso, making it a one-of-a-kind culinary journey.

Reservations are available on Kapow Noodle Bar’s website or through Tock. Early booking is advised.
