The Salty and Jimmy Butler Form All-Star Collaboration

Proceeds will benefit Project Backboard, which focuses on revitalizing public basketball courts and incorporating site-specific art installations.

The Salty, a coffee and donut chain with locations in Miami and West Palm Beach, has joined forces with BIGFACE Coffee, founded by Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler, for a unique collaboration. Lasting from April 12 through April 21, guests can indulge in two exclusive items that will benefit Project Backboard, a nonprofit aiming to improve the community by revamping public spaces and making them visually appealing. The specialty items will be available at all Salty shops for a limited period, with the Churro Croughnut priced at $5.50 and the Cinnamon Citrus Capp coffee at $6. Guests can also purchase a special BIGFACE Bundle for $10 through The Salty app or in-store.

The flavor innovation team of The Salty recently welcomed the Miami Heat icon into their kitchen. He traded his jersey for an apron and joined them on a creative culinary journey. After spending a day in the kitchen with The Salty team, they devised the Churro Croughnut and the Cinnamon Citrus Capp. The BIGFACE Churro Croughnut is a cinnamon-sugar coated 24-hour brioche croughnut filled with a cinnamon mousse, topped with a thin caramel glaze, and homemade mini churros. The Cinnamon Citrus Capp is a perfect pairing, made with BIGFACE espresso, fresh orange, cinnamon syrup, and the guest’s choice of milk. These items will be available at all 15 The Salty locations and pop-up sites.

“This new BIGFACE collab is special to me as we get to partner with a cool, local Miami brand, The Salty, while also getting to help out the community by donating a portion of the proceeds to Project Backboard,” Butler says. “I’m proud to be a part of it.”

The Salty and BIGFACE Coffee will donate a portion of the proceeds from selling their exclusive items to Project Backboard. The collaboration aims to support the organization’s mission to enhance community bonds, promote safety in parks, encourage multi-generational play, and inspire people to think critically and creatively about their surroundings.

“As a Miami-born brand, we are stoked to partner with our home team’s biggest star to bring these ridiculously delicious items to our guests in Miami and beyond while raising money for a great cause,” Andy Rodriguez says, CEO and Co-Founder of The Salty. “When drawing up this collaboration, it was important to us and to Jimmy that we made a long-lasting impact on the community and we can’t think of a better organization to support than Project Backboard. We had a blast working with Jimmy to create this perfect pair of items and we’re excited for everyone to try them. They will blow your mind!”
