Take a Trip to Eataly This Summer—in Aventura

The 30,000-square-foot space will encompass restaurants, a wine room, a marketplace and a cooking school.

The global Italian marketplace and retail concept Eataly will soon be in our midst. The store will open at Aventura Mall on Thursday, June 12, at 3 p.m. Eataly now has 14 North American locations and more than 50 stores worldwide.

The 30,000+-square-foot space will encompass two sit-down restaurants, a cafe with quick-service counters, a retail section offering housemade and made-in-Italy products, a wine store with a dedicated Riserva room, and a cooking school.

Of the restaurants, La Pizza & La Pasta is one of the brand’s signature concepts, centered on two of the most popular items in Italian cuisine: Neapolitan-style pizza and artisanal pasta. Another sit-down eatery, Il Pastaio—which translates to “pasta maker”—is dedicated to the art of fresh pasta. The Market will offer a range of items, from pantry staples such as olive oil and canned tomatoes and sauces to sweets, cheeses, imported Italian items and grab-and-go meals. The wine store’s inventory spans all 20 regions of Italy.

The Cooking School will provide an array of cooking classes in line with Eataly’s philosophy of “eat, shop and learn.”
