Pinecrest Gardens has launched a smartphone app, available for free on both Apple and Android devices. Featuring images of the Gardens, visitor information, access to tours and a calendar of events, the app also offers users an interactive map of the property.
Butterfly in the Sky
Pincrest Gardens recently launched “Butterfly in the Sky,” an all-inclusive hands-on art class, in collaboration with VSA Florida – the state organization for arts and disability. Held throughout July, the classes incorporated science, exploration and art, allowing students to study butterfly lifecycles and migration, as well as hummingbirds and flower pollinators and Turtle Island.
